The Wellington League 2017 will start on Sunday, the 11th of June and finishes after 12 Sunday on the 1st of October.

The men’s league shall consist of one full round robin to be played over seven rounds. After the completion of the round robin, teams will be ranked one through seven. The teams will then be split into two divisions – ‘cup’ for the top four teams and ‘shield’ for the bottom three teams. The teams will then play a full round robin against the teams in their division, with all points carrying over from the first round robin.

The cup playoffs will run using the exact same format as the women’s league. The shield playoffs will use a double-elimination format where the top two seeds have two lives.
