2nd week of the 4on4 league

Yesterday was the second game day of Wellington’s 4on4 league.

The Vikings women team played the Spartanz and the team showed massive improvements in compare to last week. Our new players showed great new confidence, and we could see some combinations we worked on in our practices. Unluckily we couldn’t win the game. Congrats to the Spartanz girls.

Our men teams were playing in total three games on Sunday. One of the teams played the Northern Aguillas and showed some great spirit and great combinations, though the fell short at the end with a close defeat.
The other Vikings men team who had to default last week, played today at first the other Northern Aguillas team and struggled at the beginning to comeback at the end. Unfortunately, they fell short by a couple goals. The same Vikings team had to play straight after that the top Vic Uni team and the boys fought all game long, just to fall short again. Both matches were very close at the end.

All in all, we might lost 4 games today, but all teams showed great improvements towards better team Handball, all players scored (!!!) and the spirits are high. Everyone is quite excited for the Wellington league to start.
